I thought this was going to be used every day, but now its more like once a month. Since I have a food processor for big jobs the only thing this does it make really thinly sliced onions. It does it well and is nicely compact. Also made sweet potato fries with it. Its really difficult to shove a sweet potato through one of these, but it worked. Its great at what it does, if using spherical veggies, but on longer things like squash you have to use a food processor or cut by hand.Customer Review: Zyliss Easy Slice

I love the way the Zyliss Easy Slice works for me. I'm sight impaired and risk slicing my fingers with a knife. This has made it easier to get perfect slices with out worring about cutting my self.

This slicer is really....sharp! I have watched the video online, the DVD inside the box and.... I found a way to cut off my fingers! So be careful when you are using this mandoline. I had cut potatoes and it was a breeze, perfectly sliced saving you a lot of time to cook. The catch is with long veggies like zucchinis and squashes as you have to start slicing them without the food holder.... make sure that when you come to 2 inches left on them to start to use the food holder otherwise an accident may happen quickly... slicing with this is a time saver but can become a nightmare at the ER so be careful! Beside this, I love the fact that it can fold, easy to clean (some stains may stick a bit but it doesn't matter to me) and really a good addendum in your kitchen.Customer Review: Excellent

In my kitchen, this was money well spent, even comes with a video to get you started, and it's affordable. I wanted something to slice onions, ect., but I did not want to spend a fortune.
This slicer is well worth the money. It does what it says it will do, slices like a breeze, easy clean up, and it folds for storage.
It has an adjustable blade so you do not have the risk of cutting your self while changing blades, it is very sharp, but if you slice the way you are supposed to you will not cut yourself.
This is a product I will always feel good about buying, or recommending to my friends.
